About the Trip
This November, I (Chris) will be traveling to Japan with Word of Life to serve alongside their team in Tokorozawa, a suburb of Tokyo. Earlier this year, the ministry relocated to this area—home to nearly 40 million people—to expand opportunities for evangelism, discipleship, and outreach. God has graciously provided a new building to become the future ministry center, but it needs significant renovations before it can be used.
During this trip, our small team will be working to prepare the space by installing flooring, constructing walls, setting up electrical, drywalling, and painting. Once completed, the facility will host offices, the English-language discipleship school (SYME), evangelistic English cafés, and many other gospel-centered events aimed at reaching and equipping the next generation of Japanese young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to serve in practical ways while helping lay the foundation for long-term ministry in the world’s largest mega-city. I would be grateful for your partnership through prayer and financial support as I cover the travel and trip costs to be part of this work.
